About This Opportunity

The World Bank Young Professionals Program (YPP) is a premier global recruitment program for young people passionate about international development. YPP is a two-year leadership development program at the start of a five-year employment contract with the World Bank. Young Professionals (YPs) start their careers in Washington, DC, where they engage in policy dialogue, analytical work, and lending operations. YPs rotate through different departments, gaining diverse experience across the institution while working on critical global challenges such as poverty reduction, climate change, and sustainable development. The program is highly competitive with only 40-45 positions annually.
